I come from a land down unda!!
GDAY MATE! i have just returned from my great Aussie Land adventure. and all i can say is wow. that place is amazing. we went to 3 locations; melbourne, cairns, and sydney, and after a week in each we didnt want to leave any of them. each is special in its own way with its own activities and people and scenery. starting the tour in melbourne we lived the city life that we were so desperately missing, though i can say melbourne is much more laid back and artsy so we could almost compare it to a california city or at least Austin Texas. where as sydney is a huge busy crazy mess where the vibe is much more new york style. cairns is a city but very spread out and most definitely has that "island time" vibe. everyone just walks a little slower and does everything just a little more laid back. and what can you expect from one of the scuba diving hotspots of the world? also amongst the scuba diving there is bungee jumping where you can jump off a platform and free fall 50m(162ft) down into a lake and be flung back up into the air again, talk about a rush! they also have skydiving where you get an excellent view of the GBR as you fall 9, 10 , 14 thousand feet! there is also white water rafting, and many other adventurous activities to go on. as well as many more tours where you can check out some rain-forests and waterfalls and go swimming in natural springs. if you ever find yourself in cairns may i highly recommend Uncle Brian's forests and waterfalls tour... you will not regret it. it is full of laughs fun food and swimming. be ready to get silly and leave your shame at home cause you have to get into it to fully soak up the experience. lastly as i said sydney is a concrete jungle. so many people going so many places doing so many things. you want a new york experience in Australia? go to sydney. on the brighter side of that, Darling Harbor is beautiful and there is much to see and do there. everything from visiting the aquarium/wildlife center to having a drink or food at the hard rock cafe, walking around, sitting on the dock of the bay. (o yeah i through some otis in there). there is much to do and if you take a short trip out to Bondi Beach there is much to enjoy. the beach is beautiful with soft white sand, nice waves for surfing, for you ladies you can take your tops off which means no tan lines... and for us guys that just means more scenery to enjoy. have a beer and some fish and chips at The Bucket List. i personally also took this time to get tattooed at Bondi Beach Tattoo. also while you are in Sydney, of course you must check out the Opera House. well i decided to take that experience one step further and actually go see a show at the opera house. if you go there and there is a show called La Soiree... i highly recommend that as well. lots of pics and videos to come.. when i feel motivated to post them. Met alot of really cool people from all different parts of the world at the hostels.. we had laughs, drinks, dancing, and music. which on a side note has further boosted my confidence and motivation to get things going with my music because i got all kinds of good feed back. when you stay at hostels and you meet people i like to think you have made friends for life.. your time together is so short but for that reason you bond really quickly and the relationships are very intense and deep. definitely the way to go with traveling. one last thing about Australia... dont try to change anything from what it says on the menu... they just dont get it.. its like if you told them the sky was in fact not blue but orange.. they just cant wrap their minds around it.. so if you dont like how something is on the menu.. dont get it.. because subtractions, additions, or changes of any kind are just not going to work out for you. its not a complaint.. just an amusing observation. end of the day i can NOT wait to get back to australia and live there for a longer period of time. but as it is ladies and gents i am back in the good ol ROK and plan to take full advantage of my remaining days here. and with that i shall sign off.. bid you all sweet adieu and best of wishes on all your future endeavors. PEACE LOVE AND LOLLIE POPS!

The Not So Angry Tuna
so this whole week i had been feeling like there were omens telling me that the show would not happen. and it felt like the harder i tried the more i worked to get things set up and together and ready the more the universe pushed back. this feeling of looming darkness peaked at the show when just in the 3rd song Kacey's amp stopped working. i felt like well great the universe spoke and now its word is final... HA not even close! a short break for the rest of the band and a quick jog over to his place Kacey returned with an acoustic guitar and the show went on! we played just about every song kacey could manage on the acoustic which was a surprising lot of them. and i even brought out my guitar and played my original song for the crowd. the show was a bit slower and definitely more mellow than usual but overall it worked out... TAKE THAT UNIVERSE!! the cops try to stop the music.. they didnt succeed.. the universe tried to stop the music.. it didnt succeed... dont ever try to stop The Angry Tuna because you will lose that battle, you will lose it 9 times out of 10.

another project left untouched
so as many of you know i have a hard time keeping up with my little projects. i make goals and plans and things and just dont follow through... its a very sad realization i had to come to awhile back. i could sit here and say i will do better or try to ... but lets be honest do you think i really will? all i can say is ill keep spastically finding motivation at the most random times and never when i have anything important to say or do. thats just how things go i guess. because of this i will most likely never live my dreams or get where id like to in life... but c'est la vie. i may lack motivation and drive but i have talent, inspiration and most importantly love.
.... and of course beer :-)
goodnight Neverland and all you crazies out there. sleep sweet, ill see you next time i have the random motivation to update

A Blog? Really?!
Yeah ok so first off im not even sure if i know how to have a blog, much less why? Pretty confident no one would care enough to read, though i suppose this is a convenient way to keep anyone that does care up to date with my happenings and give them more of a feel for my life, and my mind. that said i should warn that with me you never know what could come up, or out of my mouth. so be warned. I chose the title of this blog because we do live in a crazy, messed up world and things just keep getting more messed up as we go. however there is a lot of goodness and beauty in the world as well, and if we all make just a little effort we can make it better. to come you can expect pictures/videos updates, and just me talking about trips i take or experiences i have along the way. but you may also get some of my more cynical thoughts on the world and even my own thoughts of inspiration and hope for the world... so if you dare to, come with me on my journey through this mad mad mad mad world...
